Here are 21 photos of a male American Kestrel. I have included some photos straight from the camera so you might see what i saw through the camera in the distance. I cropped most of the photos so that you can see what a great and colorful creature this is. Perhaps the thing that i love the most about photographing this bird in flight is its hovering and working over the whole field from the air....this makes for ample opportunity to capture all the wing positions and head positions that make for really fine shots and great colors. All in all.....a gorgeous bird.
