Here is a group of young male elk appearing to be afraid of nothing yet constantly aware of what is happening by mainly sound alone. It was my good luck to happen upon these lovely specimens in the early morning after a heavy rain through the night. They are very handsome beasts.
To show you just how young and small these are ....i have include 2 more mature female elk at the end.
